Christmas Eve at the orphanage

They're in love
Once this little girl decided that she'd be friendly, allowing me to pick her up, she refused to let me put her down. So she sat on my hip for about 30 minutes, pressing her soft little face against mine, wriggling and squirming as I tried to take pictures with my one free hand. It took a long time for her to take an interest in these crafts. She's a sweet one.

Abbey
I sit next to Abbey at work. She's thoughtful and fun, light-hearted and innocent. Sometimes says things that are completely unexpected, inappropriate and hilarious. She's wonderful.

Numbers game

This little boy is a trouble-maker. We played several games for which everyone had to run around the room, and he would purposefully throw himself into harm's way, jumping in front of people 5X his size. He's a good one, too.
I have a soft spot for mischievous kids.
